We welcome all visitors to an entertaining and educational show with hawks, falcons, owls and eagles at Silkeborg Rovfugleshow. Our show will be conducted in Danish but information in English is available and you are welcome to ask questions in English. See below for our show hours.
At Silkeborg Rovfugleshow we are not only fascinated by the beautiful birds of prey. They have become a lifestyle and we try to pass on our great interest for the birds and their characteristics to our audience during our shows in order to fascinate both children and adults.
People have always been fascinated by birds of prey. It is known that human beings have tamed and hunted these fantastic birds for more than 4000 years.
Take a journey back to the past and experience an educational and entertaining show starting in the early Stone Age. Meet e.g. the cave man Bent and his “useless wolf”, his Majesty King Carrot the 3rd, the poultry breeder Svendsen etc. Maybe you even get the chance to hold a bird of prey or an owl.

- Changed program in case of bad weather
Prices
Admission: DKK 80,- (adult from 13 years)
Chrildren: Dkk 60,- (from 3 to 12 years)
Children 0-2 years have free admission
Special arrangement:
A walk with the hawk
After a short briefing about the basic principles for falconry, you will take a walk with the falconer and his hawk in the beautiful and hilly landscape in Central Jutland. During the walk you will carry the glove and you fly the completely free bird of prey. Flying a bird of prey is an experience that you will never forget.
